International Youth Development Summit 2014

From September 20-23 of this year, I was invited with 5 other girls to go to the International Youth Development Summit 2014.  This was hosted and organized by National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines Inc. (NAUCP Inc.) and the Philippine National Commission for UNESCO in partnership with the City Government of Pasay.

With its theme, "Reimagining a Peaceful and Resilient World Beyond 2015", attendees listened to talks on climate change, UN's goals and empowerment of the youth.  Participants also had to interact and join different competitions.  This is to unify everyone to make the world a better place.

Explore on Polyvore

Lately, I've decided to go on Polyvore.
Polyvore is a site where in members can view and create collages, which are called 'sets'.  These sets can be about fashion, home, beauty and art.  Users can also share it on your links like Facebook, Twitter and everywhere else, like here on your blog! This is what I am doing right now. Hope you like my creations. :)

14 September 2014

I am thankful for everything and everyone around me.  I see each one of them as a blessing.  Without them, they wouldn't have made me who I am today.  I believe people come into your life for a reason; to help you learn something.  Today, I dedicate this poem of mine to someone who has helped me A LOT and changed me for the better.  This person is still with me today and is a VIP in my life. HAHA  Funny to say, we weren't close at first.  I honestly think I would never ever ever talk to this person at all (sounds exaggerated but yeah) and that we'd pass not talking to each other but I was so wrong.  It's cute how people you least expect are the ones that are there for you and do stay with you.  I dedicate this poem to you, you know who you are (I know you read my blog).    Nonetheless, I hope everyone who reads this poem of mine will be delighted by it!  It came from the bottom of my heart.

The Seven Deadly Sins Tag

I was nominated for the Seven Deadly Sins Tag, and no this isn't a do or die tag or a scary tag at all. In fact, the questions were pretty interesting so I accepted the tag. Thank you Aigel form Mindful Ramblings who tagged me.

1. What is your most inexpensive book?
Hmm.. I think it is "Guess How Much I Love You" by Sam McBartney. ;) HAHA

2. What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I think poetry books win this question since poetry can be tricky but if you get it you can get the  "wisest person of them all" feeling for at least a minute! HAHA I wasn't a big fan of poetry before but now I am starting to like it and make my own. :)
3. What book have you devoured over and over again with no shame? This book would be Love and Misadventures by Lang Leav. I go back to it for the happy and sad works. Depends on my mood.

4. Which book have you neglected reading due to laziness?I would say this was "An Abundance of Katherines" by John Green. Don't get me wrong, I love John Green but I did feel lazy while reading this book... it seemed very slow.

5. What books do you most talk about in order to sound like an intellectual reader?
I would say poetry books because if I could understand them and feel them I'd feel somewhat smarter. HAHA I'm beginning to enjoy reading poetry so YAY.

6. What attributes do you find attractive in a male or female character?
I'd say in a male character I'd want them to be the chill one or the funny and somewhat good-looking. HAHA For a female character,

 7. What book would you most like to receive as a gift?
Any book that I get is surely something I'd love to own... if only I could own all! HAHA But right now, I would really want The Blood Of Olympus by Rick Riordan. I can't wait for it to come out.

And I'm done!

Font Pack for September

I haven't done these posts in a while so to start September... It is the return of the Font Packs!
These aren't my fonts, they are some fonts I like a lot but you can download these fonts at dafont.com.

The "-Ber" months is starting again.  In my country, we can say that Christmas season is coming.  The  climate becomes cooler and everyone becomes merrier since Yultide season is drawing near.

So far, I have been really busy with school.  There are so many presentations, videos and projects and I hope my head can take them all.  I do not like s t r e s s. (I do not think anyone does.)  Besides from all that, I am pretty okay.  I handle stress by being calm and composed and by free-writing.  I always have a positive outlook and think that everything will be okay! This prevents me from going crazy or something. HAHA I will try to do more posts soon. Good luck to me!

How are you? How do you deal with stress? Hope you, my readers, are okay! :) xx
